Week 1 of 12 FRIDAY

Brekkie was fresh melon and a strawberry muller.  I'm trying to resist the Kellog's Hi-Fibre bar (today's HeB) until later when I might need a chocolate fix!  I'll munch on more fruit in a bit when I make my lunch which is going to be a Breakfast Quiche and either salad or beans.


Tonight is my sister-in-law's 50th birthday celebration (Happy Birthday Lainey!) and we're off to a local indian takeaway so I've hardly had any syns at all since Tues Weigh In - 7 syns in fact - so hopefully combined with all the Body Magic I've done (and plan to do) my weight loss is still secure!  I've picked a Rogan Josh meal and plain boiled rice because I want to have a bottle of wine (27 syns!!!)

Brekkie Quiche - 


  1. Take the skin off 4 sausages (1/2 syn each if using Skinny Lizzies) and squash into bottom of baking tin.  I use a silicone loaf tin.  Place into hot oven for 10-15 mins while you prepare other ingredients.
  2. Blitz half a tub of cottage cheese or quark with a hand blender and add 2 eggs.  Beat some more.
  3. Add super free veg and/or bacon with no fat, tomatoes, etc.
  4. Add this mix onto the sausage layer in loaf tin and cook for 30-40 mins until egg mix is set and golden brown on top.
Sometimes I just have diced onion and mushrooms which is always nice but today I'm adding my home-grown baby plum tomatoes chopped in half for a different taste.  Totally delish hot or cold!
